Cass grew up in a small town known as Grand Haven, Michigan, where her tight-knit family owned and operated a plastics company. Upon marrying Dr. Wales, she fell in love with the equine practice and soon thereafter started to work as the business manager.
Cass has had numerous philanthropic endeavors, many of which support her biggest soft spot: animals. She has always been a strong advocate of Off-Track Thoroughbred, ensuring retired thoroughbreds have a safe and permanent after their racing careers end. She is also involved with Hope on Horseback and fosters numerous animals from the ANNA shelter.
In her not-so-frequent spare time, Cass enjoys gardening, entertaining, and spending time with her family.
Alyssa was born and raised in western Michigan. While she loved living there, Pennsylvania has become her new "home" over the last 6 years. She has worked for WVP for over 6 years in Erie, PA. Although she loves Veterinary medicine, she is currently attending Mercyhurst University to obtain her degree in graphic design.
In her free time she adores spending time with family, traveling, and photographing weddings. Much like her parents, she has a huge passion for helping animals.
Jessica was born and raised in Erie, PA and became close friends with the Wales in 2015. Jessica is currently studying at Gannon University and hopes to pursue a career in medicine one day. Along with the rest of the crew, she loves to help and serve other people.
When she isn't in the office, Jessica likes to run, read, and lay in the sun.

Dr. Wales grew up the son of a race track Veterinarian in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan.
After high school, Steve attended Michigan State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Microbiology (and a hefty dose of school spirit!) He then attended Ross University where he earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In his senior year, Dr. Wales did his clinical year at Washington State and completed an internship at Equine Specialty Hospital in Ohio.
Given his history, it was only natural that Dr. Wales would develop a love of the Thoroughbred athlete and Equine Sports Medicine. With over 20 Years of experience Dr. Wales has specialized in Equine Lameness and Internal Medicine his whole career. He founded his own practice in 2005.
In 2007, Dr. Wales moved his practice to Presque Isle Downs. He continues to practice there. Over the last several years, he has worked to expand the business to include pleasure horses and show horses in the surrounding areas. In 2014, he began an additional venture at Mahoning Valley Racecourse in Youngstown, OH.
Dr. Wales, his wife, and three children are full time residents in Erie, PA.
